Norton Torrontes

Norton Torrontes 2008

Don’t let the tutti-frutti nose fool you…this Chilean white has depth and character. It’s light and open with kiwi and star fruit that glides to a banana peel finish. Truly a remarkable wine! Pair it with brick and softer white cheeses, Asian cuisine, chicken dishes without a cream sauce, and also salads with a fruit component (apples, berries, etc.).

Domaine des Corbillieres

Domaine Corbillieres Touraine

I like Touraines. They are lovely, unobtrusive food wines that never steel the show from the “main event”; the meal. This French Sauvignon Blanc has a grassy organic nose with a light, tight, mouth-watering front palate that balances out on the finish. Clean and refreshing.
