A Fresh Palate

A blog by Eileen Jinete
Being brand new to the wonderful world of wine tasting, I chose to write my first blog on a wine I could relate to as a cook and lover of citrus.
Terra Andina Sauvignon Blanc 2008 is an intense, fresh and easy (too easy) to drink wine. Grapefruit, lime, tangerine and even hints of nectarine smack you right on the kisser with every sip. It’s crisp, and has a finish that lingers on and on. It went beautifully with our creamy lobster bisque. I also found it paired well with just about any cheese ~ perfect for summer cocktail parties! It immediately reminded me of the splendid warm months to come, which made me smile… and if that wasn’t enough, it comes in well under my usual wine budget of $12.00 (definite newcomer). Sold!
